I'd like to think of myself as a special Mary Poppins sort of person. I have a warm and sincere personality and a sharp and incisive mind.
I have taught children and young adults art and creative writing, while always weaving in cultural history and critical context.
In undergrad I took full advantage of being in an art school setting and dug deep into textiles, printmaking, video, and painting, while always having a high level of performance in my liberal arts electives. I had a voracious appetite for learning about literature from Plato to James Joyce, film and music history, and art history.
I received my MFA from Bard College's wonderful post-disciplinary setting, where I focused on poetry while also being able to satisfy my desire for a diverse set of cultural knowledge.
