Dear Tutee,

My name is Sophy, and I am interested in becoming your tutor. Why should you choose me? Well, I am currently studying to become a high school biology teacher in Drexel University. I have special place in my heart to teach students especially on a one-on-one basis. I was an official tutor for the National Honor Society when I attended Philadelphia High School for Girls and for SquashSmarts, an after school program in Philadelphia. I also have volunteered my time to tutor middle school students and GED students and currently teach 7th grade in Sunday School at my church.

I am flexible in terms of methods and scheduling, but prefer to meet at a public place such as the local library. I am able to tutor in most basic subjects in the elementary, middle, and high school levels especially in the Maths and Sciences, as well as Reading/Writing. I am not set it one particular method, as I understand each student is unique. I am also willing to get in touch with your respected teachers and parents/guardians to make the tutoring time all the more effective.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
