I am a PhD Candidate in Art History at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. I graduated summa cum laude from Stony Brook University in New York in 2004, and from Saint Anthony's High School in Huntington, New York, in 2000.

I am passionate about the history of art and architecture - from all periods. I love to teach and that is why I entered into a PhD program! My major is art and architecture since 1900, and have minors in Medieval Art and Film Studies. I have worked in Visual Resources for five years and incorporate innovative digital image technologies into my teaching practice.

Film

I have a graduate certificate in Film Studies, completed as part of my doctoral studies at CUNY Graduate Center. I have taken courses in film history, theory, and aesthetics. I have presented talks at conferences on film studies, and organized events at The Graduate Center highlighting the work of contemporary filmmakers and scholars.

In order to advance to candidacy for my PhD, I passed my qualifying exams in the subject of art and architecture since 1900 with highest honors (December 2010).
