I graduated with my BA in English literature with an emphasis in writing and received much experience editing and proofreading through college courses and an internship with a publishing company. I have one on one and classroom teaching experience, and a CELTA certificate (which is a certification issued through the University of Cambridge to teach English as a foreign language). I was raised in California and have lived in Santa Barbara, Boston, Uganda, Italy, and currently Philadelphia. I am the oldest of four kids and love working with children, as well as older students and adults.
I am a young professional and have a flexible schedule. I have a friendly, easy going demeanor and enjoy teaching. I am comfortable with a wide range of subject matter and can tailor lessons and teaching styles to what works best for you. I am interested in your goals and where you aim to be in your studies and eager to help you reach them.
