Hello to all and welcome to my profile. I have wanted to be an educator for most of my life. I graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Education and History. Upon graduation, I was a part of two honor societies and made the Dean's List. I am also certified to teach Social Studies for grades seven to twelve (7-12). I have worked with children of all ages and have taught students with a wide range of learning challenges. Over the past year I have worked at the Father Judge Brisson Center, a tutoring center for students with learning challenges. I believe all students have the ability to reach their full potential. However some students may need to work harder than others to achieve their goals. It is my job to assist these students navigate through the various obstacles that may stand in their way of achieving their goals. I can differentiate a lesson for a student with various learning styles.
I have all of the Pennsylvania required clearances: a Pennsylvania Criminal History, a Child Abuse History Clearance, a Federal Criminal History Record, and a P.P.D. Tuberculin Test. These clearances prove that I have no prior infractions. I prefer to meet my students in a public area, preferably in a library.
