I focus on helping a student move ahead and make sure they have a strong foundation. Each student is an individual and I adapt everything I do to help them learn in the way that is best suited to their needs.
I received my master's from St. Joseph's University in Elementary and Special Education. In addition, I have a teacher certification through the Philadelphia Teaching Fellows, which is a highly selective alternative certification program. I have been tutoring for the past eight years and love helping students learn. I have experience tutoring in math (up to Algebra II), reading, computer applications and SAT/ACT test prep tutoring. I also have two years of teaching experience as a teacher at The Young Women's Leadership School at Rhodes where I taught Middle School Math my first year and Algebra II this past year.
