My name is Jessica and I am a recent graduate of Drexel University with a Master’s in Health Science. I have previous experience as a mentor and tutor ranging from middle school students to adult learners. As a tutor I have received many positive reviews and feedback including being a good listener, patient, and professional. I have a compassionate and friendly nature, and a strong desire to help others. My educational background and work/volunteer experience spans a number of disciplines but my strengths are math, science, and English/grammar.
I’m a firm believer that learning should be fun and exciting. But, the key to enjoying it is figuring out the study habits and practices that work best for YOU. My goal is not only to help you adapt good study habits but also to increase retention of information and ensure understanding to guarantee academic success.
Everyone has a subject that they struggle with but always remember: “obstacles are put in your way to see if what you want is really worth fighting for”-author unknown.
