Business
I have an MBA in International Business from Temple University (mirrored by an MBA from a university in Paris, France) and an MS in Human Resources, also from Temple University. I have 4 years of business management experience running a small business. I am quite familiar with the operations side of a business and am happy to help a student learn more about this area.
Career Development
For the last three years, I have been the HR manager at a company which recruits interns from around the world and provides them with career development during their tenure with us. I built this internship / career development program and have managed it since its inception.
The program includes resume and interview help, social media and networking advice (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook), job search and assistance, and also having the interns accompany me to job fairs in our local area and having them do the interviewing of prospective interns with me at their side. Added to this is an online assessment I provide to the interns at no cost which tells them about their teaming abilities (named Teamability) which my company developed over 24 years of R&D. I have worked individually with ~50 interns over the last three years. This real, hands-on experience has enabled my interns to go onto working at such companies as The Atlantic Wire, Barnes and Noble Corporate, Executive Health Resources, GE, General Motors Korea, JP Morgan Chase, and several others.
Elementary (K-6th)
I was an elementary school teacher for two years with a national volunteer organization. While I primarily taught Computers and Physical Education, I was also a proctor for the daily Homework Club and floated between all grade levels to assist students with their homework assignments. I was also a substitute teacher on the occasion one of our grade-level teachers was out that day.
Microsoft Excel

Public Speaking
I have spoken to a variety of crowds, from 3,000 college graduates in one auditorium to one-on-one coaching of speakers and everything in between. I enjoy working on content preparation and delivery, voice projection, audience awareness, and know a few tricks to help you relax as you give a speech. International setting? Business meetings? School presentation? I can help because I've been there!
QuickBooks
I use QuickBooks in my business to set up new customer accounts, record transactions, send invoices and statements, pull A/R reports, and (most importantly) create backups. My company works with an outsourced bookkeeping service, so I take care of the customers while they take care of our vendors.
