Hi everyone, my name is Brian. If you are considering Math subject tutoring or Math SAT tutoring, look no further! I am a graduate of Boston College, and Math has always been my strongest subject. I want to sit down and work with students to look at what is giving them problems either with Math subjects in school or with the SAT. No more worrying about those Math classes and tests in school, and no anxiety for the SAT!
If you need to address problems with Pre-algebra, Algebra, or any other level of Algebra you will be happy to hear that Algebra has always been my strongest subject. It is where I always earned my highest grades, and where I learned all of the concepts quickly and easily. When I work with students I like to use my Math skills to first make sure students understand all the concepts that come at them in school. Then I spend time teaching strategies for tackling specific types of questions on tests in school or on the SAT.
When you need to take the SAT test I can help you earn a great score on the Math portion. When I took the SAT test, for the Math portion I earned a score of 800 (out of 800 possible points). Yes, a perfect score! I know how important it is to earn a high standardized test score to help get accepted into college--I want to make it easier for you to earn that higher score!
In an earlier tutoring program I was part of, I worked with high school students living in a group home in the Philadelphia area. I provided 1-on-1 tutoring lessons for them, either for Math school subjects in general or to prepare for tests. In the strong majority of my recent lessons I have tutored students to be better prepared for Math classes in school and to get ready for quizzes, tests, and exams. Throughout my lessons with these current students, they seem to be understanding school material more clearly, and their grades have been improving.
For adults and kids, I can offer tutoring and assistance in other subjects - GRE prep, writing help (papers, essays), using Microsoft Office, public speaking, and other subjects.
Please send me a message so we can talk about scheduling tutoring lessons. I look forward to hearing from you.
