I've recently completed my M.S.Ed. at the University of Pennsylvania in the Reading, Writing and Literacy program and anticipate having my PA Reading Specialist certification by the end of this summer.

I graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2007, where I majored in English and minored in Linguistics. I am knowledgeable about English literature, as well as grammar, and expository writing techniques. I am a patient educator, and make sure my students understand the material before moving on. Because of my Linguistics background I have a good understanding of grammatical patterns and am able to use different approaches and find what works best for individuals.

Reading

I've been a lifelong reader/writer and also minored in Linguistics as an undergraduate student so I have a strong interest in language/literacy.

Proofreading

I have a good deal of experience proofreading my own papers and collaborating with classmates/ colleagues in graduate school. I have a solid understanding of English grammar and writing standards.
