I recently graduated from Villanova University with a Master's degree in applied statistics. I have a Bachelor's degree in animal biotechnology and conservation with a minor in mathematics from Delaware Valley College. My areas of study include statistical methods and theory, differential, integral, and multivariate calculus, linear algebra, physics, and logic (Boolean algebra). I have spent 79 semester hours studying the natural sciences, giving me a solid background in the sciences and in particular, how the different disciplines relate to each other.
I am proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. In addition to helping with course material, I am capable of assisting you with preparing oral presentations as well as writing reports. Being a math and science geek, I am most familiar with writing in the style of scientific literature. So, if you need help writing a paper for a literature class, I'm not the person for you. But, if you need help writing a laboratory report (or keeping a lab notebook) I am the tutor for you.
I've been tutoring through WyzAnt for about a year now. I have mostly been working with high school and college students in statistics and some algebra, trig, and precalculus.
I recently moved to Perkasie and work in northeast Philadelphia. Because of this daily commute I'm only willing to travel to areas close by within a 5 mile radius at this time. However, there is always the option for you to come to my home if you choose.
