I graduated from Kutztown University in December 1998 with a degree in Elementary Education. I've taught 1st grade, pre-first, and fourth grade and substituted in all grades while in Reading School District. I then came to Norristown and substituted grades kindergarten through eighth. I spent 2 1/2 years teaching 6-8 grade Reading and Social Studies. I then went to a learning support classroom where I was an assistant for 1 1/2 years before having my children. In 2010 I went back to work at the preschool level. I worked with the babies, toddlers and preschool age groups. I recently resigned my position as a preschool teacher to stay home with my children and work from home part time. I want to stay active in education and continue to make a difference in children's lives by tutoring. In my free time, I love to scrapbook, camp, read, and do crafts with my children. I have been married to my husband for 10 years and my children are 7 1/2 and 5. We have a dog and two cats.
