I have 8 years' teaching experience as a secondary English teacher in both public and parochial schools. I possess a teaching certificate from Ursinus College in Collegeville and did graduate work at Beaver College in Glenside working towards a master's degree in Education, focusing on becoming a reading specialist. I have extensive experience doing private one on one tutoring, and most recently worked with a foreign exchange student from Korea. I am someone who loves teaching; it is my passion. I am demanding of my students, but only because I want them to push themselves to excel. I try my best to make the learning experience as "painless" as possible, but do expect my students to work hard and apply themselves. I work very hard to tutor them as thoroughly as possible and expect them to work equally as hard to get the most out of the tutoring experience. I appreciate honest feedback from my students and their parents; it helps me to make the tutoring experience better.
