I am a graduate of Miami University in Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education: therefore I am licensed to teach in Ohio for grades 7 - 12. I have taken courses in precalculus, calculus, algebra I & II, geometry, linear algebra, college calculus and am familiar with SAT/ACT mathematics. My tutoring methods are similar to that of my teaching methods in the classroom. I strive to make sure that my students understand the core concepts of the mathematics before moving on to examples and practice problems. I think it is essential to practice the mathematics as much as possible and continuously ask questions to allow for higher proficiency and understanding in the area of mathematics.
