Heather tutored my daughter the summer before my daughter started her senior year in high school. She had been struggling with math her junior year and I knew we would need outside help for her senior year. While in Philadelphia for the summer we used Heather's services and while it was a short period, Heather helped my daughter to focus more on her education and to become more serious about academics in general and math in specific.
We tried to continue the sessions online when we returned to DE for the school year, but that was too difficult, so I found a tutor in Dover, DE. However, Heather really was an effective tutor and source to show my daughter the possibilities if she applies herself.

Being an older student getting back to school is tough, but Heather always helps me gain ground in our sessions. I always walk out with an understanding of the material I was struggling with and an ability to retain the information. I have an exam to take today and my confidence in my understanding of the material that will be covered has improved tenfold. Yesterday I was thinking I would get an F. I came to Heather needing help studying for the Praxis 1 combined test. I especially needed help in the Math and Writing sections. Heather did a fantastic job of pinpointing my weaknesses and turning them into strengths in literally minutes!! She was not out for my money either. She gave me a ton of practice I could do on my own time so I was able to come to her with specific questions. That way my actual paid time was as beneficial as humanly possible!!
Heather is a very smart woman and on top of that she is great with people. She is easy to get along with and did a great job of communicating her knowledge over to me. She is not only great at answering questions, but also at asking the right ones that helped me retain information more efficiently.

Heather is an excellent tutor and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I am an adult learner returning back to college and needed help in re-familiarizing myself in the areas of algebra, grammar, and chemistry. Heather was very patient and understanding and willing go as fast or slow as I needed her too. During our sessions she took the time to breakdown and review both general and basic concepts of my problem areas and willing to stay with that subject until I felt confident in moving forward. Although Heather’s fee was a little pricier than other tutors, I quickly learned she is not only very skillful and qualified but she also worth every penny.
