I'm a 2007 graduate of Middleburg High School. I believe math is so interesting and important because of its tie to seemingly every artisan of life, from chemistry to artworks to athletics to engineering to exploration, and the role which it plays within them. I got involved in tutoring via referral from my sister. I was a member of the National Honor Society and excelled in all subjects of study; mathematics was always one of my better ones however.
My experience as a tutor began in high school, when I volunteered to help fellow students when given the opportunity. I've assisted friends of my own and those of my sister with their works at college and high school. Besides what most would consider "freelance", I haven't done much tutoring until one suggested WyzAnt.com.
I've been certified in Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. I am new to this site, but am looking forward to meeting and helping new students.
I can tutor at my home or I can meet elsewhere. If one resides further than ten miles away, I would be willing to travel for tutoring sessions at .75/mile; I'm willing to travel up to ten miles free of charge. Spring, summer, and fall, I am usually not available on the weekends. Available almost any time throughout the winter.
