I have taught English at the high school and community college level for more than 15 years. Grammar, composition, and literature are my specialty areas. I also hold an ESL Program Specialist certificate for Pennsylvania and currently tutor at a local ESL agency.

I believe the best way to teach is to make learning fun and interactive. Toward that end I incorporate as much creativity into my lessons as possible without losing sight of the learning objectives.

Additionally, I have worked as a corporate writer, editor, and communications manager. I have written executive speeches and presentations, edited an in-house employee motivational newsletter, and written online articles for a major financial services company's website.

Public Speaking

I have been a member of Toastmasters International since 1997 and have given approximately 50+ speeches during that time. I am the founder and former president of a Toastmasters Club at Siemens Corporation in Malvern, PA, and am the winner of three speaking competitions.

Additionally I have written numerous speeches for corporate executives.
