My name is Michelle and I am a certified Art teacher for Kindergarten through 12th grades.
I graduated from Temple University, Tyler School of Art in 2010 with my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Ceramics with a minor in Art History as well.
I currently am a substitute with a temp agency, and also am an art camp counselor in the summer.
I love working with children of all ages, and in all mediums of art.
For parents of younger children who seem interested in the field of art, I can help your child in the following ways:
-Give them the tools to practice their craft outside of school
-Introduce them to new ideas and techniques to continue excelling in their craft
-Enrich their art history knowledge in a fun way while learning about different approaches to art, and trying them out.
If you need help with creating a portfolio for acceptance into an Arts high school, charter school, or college, I would be able to help you prepare in the following ways:
-Create projects to put into your portfolio
-Work on struggles in your artwork
-Build confidence in yourself with your artistic skills.
I would be able to help your portfolio meet requirements set forth by the school for acceptance.
Thank you for your time.
