I have just graduated from West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA where I received a Bachelor's in Religious Education with my focus in Bible, English, and history. In July of 2011, I became certified in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. During my college experience, I did not just become acquainted with knowledge, but also with helping people. Every weekend, I was involved in volunteer work whether it was helping or teaching a children's class or developing the lives of others.
I have tutored my little brother who is legally blind and have also tutored people whose second language is English. I love the one on one approach because I can focus on your personal needs and help you to improve in your weak areas. On the first lesson, I will give you a diagnosis test to see what areas you specifically need help. Then, together we will set some goals for the tutoring session. Through my teaching experience in several different classes, I have learned that just telling a student how to do something does not help them to learn. I would love to show you and use practical circumstances in life to help you learn more efficiently.
