Hi. My name is Sandra and I have been teaching and tutoring students in the community for the past ten years. I am experienced working with students pre-school through high school. My dedication to teaching and learning is life- long. I have worked as a classroom teacher for grades three and six, and as an ESL language trainer for two years. Now, I work and tutor students in SES after school programs in Lancaster. I have been doing this for two years. Everyday, I meet with a small group after school and teach or re-teach learning concepts.
Tutor-time is a fun time for students to learn without the pressures and frustrations of classroom learning. As a parent and an educator, I know the demands of school learning and responsibilities of homework can be heavy for the student and the whole family.
As a tutor, I look forward to working with you and your child. My goal is to make learning fun and important to your child. With added confidence and enthusiasm toward learning, your child will find less frustration and more success in the classroom and at home. I will work hard to make sure that your child is now and will be successful in the future.
