My name is Kevin and I have a master's degree in Divinity. I have pastored a denominational church for the last 15 years and have experiential knowledge in subjects such as: photography, public speaking, general study skills, student motivation, world religions, ethics, pastoral counseling, church history, Bible exegesis, Old and New Testament and hermeneutics. I was an adjunct professor for four years, teaching African American Christian History. Formerly, I spent 8 years in the field of hospice as a Spiritual Care Coordinator and Bereavement Counselor, and have extensive knowledge in grief counseling and subjects related to thanatology and palliative care.

I have extensive experience in writing and literary forms. I am a former photography major out of the Rochester Institute of Technology; education major out of the Central Virginia Community College; and MDiv major out of the Lancaster Theological Seminary. I am willing to do whatever I can to help you succeed and become totally proficient in your course of study. I am married and have 4 adult children; all college graduates - Randolph Macon College, Longwood College, Norfolk State University and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Study Skills

I designed the Urban Motivational Youth Program. The program specialized in helping urban students become proficient in basic educational requirements. Assistance in tutoring and homework help was realized by students in after-school programming. I also developed a program called K.E.E.P. - Kidz Evaluated for Educational Progress.

Track & Field

I ran track for Milton Hershey School for 4 yrs., lettering in track and field events. I was the first African American student to compete in the 330 intermediate hurdles in 1974. Religion

I acquired a Master's degree in Divinity from the Lancaster Theological Seminary in 2004. I received a 3.5 gpa and became proficient in the study of world religions. I acquired the Schaeffer Award in excellency in religious studies an was the president of the Inter-faith Ministerium in Lancaster, Pa.

Bible Studies

I graduated with a Master's in Divinity from the Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pa. with established proficiencies in Old and New Testament survey, Church History and Bible Interpretation.

Drums

I began playing drums for Camp Curtin Junior High Band in Harrisburg, Pa. in 1969. I graduated to trap-set drumming at 13 years of age and am now 55. Played drums for the worship ten of my local church for five years. I've taught several students I drum theory over the adult years of my life.

Photography

I am an undergraduate photography major completing studies in bio-medical photography and photographic illustration. I was employed by the Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) program, through the Susguehanna Employment and Training Corp (SETCO) in 1991.
