My teaching style is geared toward building children's confidence by customizing my style to meet the needs of the student. I focus not only on fine tuning techniques, but building problem solving skills. I feel as an art teacher, the most important thing I can do for a student is to teach them how to really "see" what they are creating. Helping a child artist open their mind and really look at a subject can open up a whole new world of expression, and honing their skills will build confidence that carries over into all aspects of learning.
I am a published artist with artwork licensed and sold worldwide. I have a BFA with a specialization in painting and am versed in all aspects of fine arts. I am a Mom of a preschooler and have one child in elementary school. I currently teach elementary art part time and run after school and summer art enrichment camps for all levels and abilities.
