I love working with all different sorts of people to help them meet learning goals. Whether you're looking to get through a tough class, learn a new skill to help you in the workplace, or just learn something new for fun, you have come to the right place.
I started working with students 15 years ago. I was very young at the time myself, but I got along marvelously with a little boy with autism. His mother asked if I would be willing to be a part of his team. Before I knew it, a new career was born. After several years working with students with autism and related disorders, I decided to branch out and get more formal training. I went to Millersville University and graduated with honors and degrees in special education and psychology.
To this day I work with a wide variety of students. I continue to have ties to the world of special education, firmly believing that all students deserve a special, individualized education, regardless of ability or disability. I have taught in the classroom, in small groups, and in individual settings. I work with ages 3-73 and wouldn't mind expanding. As a special educator, I also have experience teaching most subjects. I like fulfilling unusual requests and working with students of varied abilities, talents, giftings, and learning styles. Whatever your particular situation, challenging or straightforward, I probably have something for you.
