I have 15 years of experience in the accounting and tax field! I earned my B.S. in Accounting in 1998 with a GPA of 3.4. I earned my CPA license in NJ in 2001. Then I completed my MBA in 2002. My focus was in entrepreneurship.

I am academic at heart and enjoyed my college and post-grad education. I have tired of the corporate work place and the long hours required in public accounting and look forward to working with you in an accounting tutor capacity! I love to read... even accounting textbooks!

I have been tutoring via the WyzAnt website for almost a year and a half and I really enjoy it! My previous experience in tutoring was several years with the Literacy Volunteers of America where I worked with adults who were not fully literate for various reasons. I really enjoyed tutoring because I saw the difference I made in people's lives in terms of them gaining employment and enriching their lives.

I can work with you and your needs in the areas of accounting where you require additional support, help and practice. Because I am detail-oriented by nature, I can put together a plan to help you succeed in your accounting academic endeavors.

When I tutor ongoing students, you get my personal time and attention. Between tutoring sessions, you are welcome to email or text me questions to keep you on track with your assignments.

My rate for Accounting subjects is $40 per hour. Rate reduction after completion of 10 hours of Accounting tutoring! This is helpful if you need tutoring for a lot of course work or for an entire semester.

GED and Proofreading $25 per hour. Excel is $30 per hour.

Microsoft Excel

As an accountant I have used Excel extensively for the past 15 years. I don't necessarily use all the chart and graph functions but I can create spreadsheets with all the tools to format. I also use Excel personally for spreadsheets and charts.

Accounting

My undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Accounting. I worked in public accounting for many years. I have tutored all areas of Accounting including Financial, Managerial, Cost, Tax, etc. In these areas I have tutored Intro, basic, undergrad, grad, online and MBA levels. I've seen a lot!

Finance

Finance is a branch of Accounting which usually overlaps with accounting. I find that sometimes a course may be called Finance but it leans more heavily toward accounting. I am comfortable tutoring Finance but I need to see the syllabus or course assignments to understand where the focus leans.

Proofreading

I am a detail-oriented person and proofreading comes naturally to me. I have proofread many papers for a variety of subjects including nursing students and psychology students. I would be happy to proofread papers for your course subject.

GED

As a High School graduate, I can help students pass this exam. I earned my B.S. in Accounting and my MBA. Therefore I have spent many years studying many subjects. I know how to prioritize and can help students successfully prepare and pass an exam. I can help you work through all the types of problems you will be asked to complete on the Math GED.
