I am currently a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania's Masters of Biotechnology program with a focus in Bioinformatics (Applied Computer Science). I have a bachelors of Biological Sciences with Cum Laude honors from Temple University. Furthermore, I was accepted to study Management at the London School of Economics and Health Care Management at Carnegie Mellon University. I have taken the GRE and GMAT's in order to attend/apply to these universities.
I prefer to tutor for High School Biology, Math, or Chemistry. I do not tutor for standardize testing, however I can provide test taking tips. I am also fairly comfortable with the subjects of College Biology and College Organic Chemistry.
In my spare time, I do application and web development. I am also a visiting researcher at Temple University in the field of Genomics and Bioinformatics.
My teaching method is very visual, with diagrams and flow charts. When I was a child I didn't excel as a student. It wasn't until the end of high school that I was able to succeed academically. Through these experiences, I am able to teach complicated subject matters to student's in way that makes sense and without much technical jargon. I teach a subject as if I was to learn the subject for the first time, instead of regurgitating text from a text book.
