My undergraduate major in education has prepared me to teach a number of diverse learners. I am excellent with one-on-one help and feel like I get information across to individuals in a way they understand. My education classes and student teaching experience have helped me to better understand how different math concepts work. Because of this, I know how to explain concepts in very organized and logical steps. Also, if one way of explaining a concept is not registering for a student, I generally can provide another method for the student to grasp the concept. I have always been a excellent math student, and have always been in advanced classes. I graduated this past May with a degree in Math Secondary Education. I spent last summer tutoring several adults in their online math courses, and would love to help any person become more skilled in mathematics. Also, on a separate note, I do give lessons in volleyball. I have played volleyball for a majority of my life. I spent all four years of college playing on my school's team. I was a captain for two years in college and have received a number of conference awards for my efforts. I haven't coached since high school, but I have a lot of experience playing and would love to give lessons to individuals who are looking to improve.
