Thank you for considering me.

I'm currently an assistant of the college Mathematics department, a college tutor, a substitute teacher and a tutor for high school students...students and Math are a significant part of my life. I'm usually a long-term tutor and mentor for an average of 10 students at any given time. My students are often a blend of traditional, gifted, some that struggle, often a homeschooler, and usually an awesome student with an IEP or disability (Autism and Aspergers).

I love to help students with their math studies and to improve their standardized test scores.

My past education experience includes the following: adult education, elementary, middle and high school, trade schools and even worked with 16 four-year-old daycare youngsters. I've volunteered with Junior Achievement and I've enjoyed working with AmeriCorp and their Educational Scholarship Program tutoring 'at risk' students.

I'm a recent Secondary Education - Mathematics graduate from York College. My college experience included tutoring college students through the Center for Teaching and Learning. I was also privileged to run a summer math program as part of the college's Crispus Attics Scholarship program. I had received my first bachelor's degree from York College in Computer Science in 1986 with additional studies in Accounting, Business Management and Education. I've enjoyed teaching field experience at local suburban and urban settings.

I've been a husband for 30 years and father for 27. I've been teaching in some form since 1986. I was a nationally ranked swimmer (freestyle sprints) and was also a high school swimming/diving coach. My prior work experience was quite diverse and included working for global, fortune 50 companies. I have also enjoyed international public speaking assignments in Europe.

I would enjoy the opportunity to meet with you, initially without charge...then we'll focus on solidifying your foundation, preparing you for growth. It's not about me, it's about you, it's about us making a true connection and helping you to excel...please read my feedback and then let's get STARTED!

Great Tutor — Our first session with Bryan was very effective. I have a 16 year old daughter who needs help with math for the SATs. Bryan has a unique way of helping the student figure out the answer themselves so they are ready for the same type of questions on the tests. I would definitely recommend Bryan for any of your children. ...
