Hi! My name is Jill. I have my Pennsylvania state teaching certification. I graduated from Kutztown University in 2010 with a 3.9 GPA. My bachelor's degree is in Elementary Education grades K-6. I'm also certified to teach Middle Level English (grades 7-9) and will soon be certified in Middle Level Math as well.

I love kids and have years of experience working with them! In the last few years, I have have substitute taught in every grade from kindergarten through 8th and have served two long-term substitute positions. I've also worked at summer camps with children of all ages and was an orientation leader for college freshmen.

My main expertise is elementary education. Language arts, reading, and writing are my strongest subjects, but I have plenty of experience with the rest!

I am a knowledgeable, friendly and patient teacher based in the Philadelphia suburbs! I will cater my lessons to best meet your child's needs while making learning dynamic, hands-on and relevant.

I have been certified in Elementary Education (grades K-6) by earning a B.A. in Education from Kutztown University in 2010. I currently hold a valid Level I state certification in Elementary Education, valid until 2016. I have three years of experience in the classroom - one year of student teaching, two of substitute teaching during which I've taught every grade from kindergarten through 8th.

Phonics

I hold a Level I Pennsylvania state certification as a teacher of Elementary Education, which covers all basic elementary-level subjects. I demonstrated exemplary study skills while earning my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Kutztown University. I earned a 3.9 GPA, belonged to two different honor societies, and earned a spot on the Dean's List almost every semester. I would be an excellent tutor in study skills for those students struggling in that area.

Praxis

I hold a Pennsylvania state certification in Elementary Education. In earning my B.A. in Education, I took seven PRAXIS tests and passed all seven in one try. I feel confident in helping others succeed on this test.
