I am certified in Spanish K-12, and have been teaching at Elkins Park Middle School in the Cheltenham School District for 11 years. I have also been tutoring for the same amount of time. I adore helping each student find his/her particular learning style, and have been quite successful in making our sessions fun and productive. I work with students in all levels of Spanish, from elementary to college. In addition to tutoring Spanish, I also work with students of all levels to improve writing, essay organization and study skills. Spanish

I am a certified PA Spanish teacher, and have been teaching in the Cheltenham School District for 11 years. I also tutor all levels, and try to incorporate music, art and technology into my lessons. I like to engage students from the beginning, and instill enthusiasm towards becoming familiar with a second language.

I tutor English comprehension, reading, study skills, essay organization and writing. I am also a trained SAT verbal skills tutor.

I have worked with students from many backgrounds who are trying to learn English. I use both direct and indirect teaching methods, and also try to format our lessons around each student's abilities and needs. I teach 5th grade in Elkins Park and have tutored students of all ages.

I am a trained SAT verbal tutor. I use a variety of resources to help each student become more familiar with test-taking strategies and grow more confident as the test day approaches. I tailor our sessions to each student's needs, i.e. we work on all aspects of the exam (sentence completions, essay writing, and reading comprehension), unless there is a specific part that the student wishes to concentrate on.

I am a trained SAT verbal and writing tutor. I have been helping students improve their grammar, sentence structure, and overall essay skills for the past 5 years. I am a certified K-12 PA teacher, have been teaching in the Cheltenham School District for 12 years.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am certified to tutor Elementary Math and spelling, and have tutored grammar and reading as well. I have been teaching at Elkins Park School in the Cheltenham School District for 11 years, and have been tutoring in all elementary subjects for as long.

Study Skills

I'm a fifth grade teacher, and have been teaching and tutoring most subjects, including study skills, for the past ten years.

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
