Enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutor of Spanish

I am a current certified Spanish teacher of 10 years who has taught all levels of middle and high school Spanish. I am currently teaching Spanish 2, 3, 4, and AP.

I have studied in Costa Rica and Spain and earned my Master's Degree in Mexico in Spanish Pedagogy (the teaching of the Spanish language and culture) with a 4.0 GPA. My areas of specialty fall into the categories of grammar instruction and study methods for vocabulary retention, though I have extensively studied methods of teaching all of the major skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary building and cultural awareness.

I would love to help students of all ages to prepare for the AP exam, get ahead in their classes, prepare for upcoming travels, or expand their knowledge of the language.

Spanish

I am qualified and confident in all levels of Spanish. I am a college Board AP certified teacher with a Master's in Spanish Pedagogy (4.0 GPA) earned in Guanajuato, Mexico.

ESL/ESOL

I have tutored Intermediate and Advanced Level ESL, helping students to improve their grammar, use vocabulary correctly, and better their understanding of the culture of the United States. Being fluent in Spanish, I am also able to work with Latinos who are beginning their English studies.
