Hello, my name is Kristy and I am a nurse practitioner. I have worked in the nursing field for over 20 years and I believe that nurses generate nurses. Currently, I am enrolled in a doctorate program because I want to teach students in not only nursing, but also science and math. I have been tutoring for several years and I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to teach using a variety of different methods and techniques that are individualized to the student.

Basketball

I played basketball in high school for 4 years (when P-town won championship in 1983) and then in college as starting point guard. I play occasionally for fun with my nieces and nephews.

Bible Studies

I taught Sunday school for ten years and took religion in college. I believe in the Bible, and the King James Version is the one I prefer.

NCLEX

I an a nurse practitioner who started out as a registered nurse. I currently have a MSN in acute and adult care and and am working on doctorate. I had to take NCLEX exams numerous times and passed them all on the first attempt. I have tutored many nursing students in studying for the NCLEX.

ADD/ADHD

I worked with several students with ADD and ADHD to help them past exams. Wile undergoing undergraduate studies, I had a course in school nursing and received my certificate. I also took a course in children with special needs that included ADD and ADHD.

TEAS

I am qualified to tutor in this area for two reasons. First, I had to take a TEAS test many years ago and did well. Second, I had a sister who had to start nursing as a second career and I had to help her with the exam. We bought a book to study from and she passed the exam with ease.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
