I have led a super creative life: and have taught many people.

I started a childrenswear design company, Hartstrings, and grew it to many millions, then sold it! I can teach entrepreneurship: how to start and run a successful business. I can also teach management skills and study skills. I can teach project management.

I was the president/head designer, I can teach you how to design clothing, houses, furniture, really any consumer type item.

I have many years of experience designing all kinds of knitwear: can teach knitting, crocheting, all kinds of hand embroidery, other crafts such as jewelry making, decoupage, faux painting, etc.

I can teach sewing: machine and hand sewing, patternmaking, slipcovering, drapes, and clothing constuction.

I can teach interior design as well.

Sewing

My sewing career started at age 6, when I made a pleated wool skirt. I won a National Singer Sewing contest in high school, then I went on to take many sewing, patternmaking, other art courses at Cornell University where I majored in apparel design. I owned a children's wear design and manufacturing company for 28 years, where I learned something new every day!

Career Development

I can teach entrepreneurship,and advise people who are thinking of starting their own business. I started my own business in my home, and turned it into a multi million dollar business before selling it.

I can also offer career development to people interested in getting into the design field. Once again, I had many years of experience in that area through my company, and previous places I worked.

Needlework

I can teach needlepoint, different kinds of stitches, yarns, effects, plus needlepoint design.

I can teach crewelwork, hand applique, all kinds of tailoring stitches, decorative embroidery stitches in all kinds of mediums, including incorporating beading and other 3d items.

I can teach monograming, quilting.
