I enjoy being creative and teaching art and the opportunity to give children the greatest means to achieve there fullest artistic potential. I am dedicated to teaching my students and meeting there needs. I have been teaching art for the last 11 years and I am very passionate about art instruction. Also, my substitute teaching experience encompasses teaching and instructing art for children at all levels including extensive experience at the High School levels. I have a full range of art instruction knowledge which includes a multitude of mediums and disciplines.

In addition, I have been an artist myself for the last 15 years creating many art works ranging from pencil drawings, oil, and water color to pottery/glazed works to jewelry design. I was borne in the Ukraine and immigrated to the United States at an early age, which I believe makes me especially suited to working well with families and children from all cultures and backgrounds.

I am highly skilled in teaching painting in multiple media including watercolor, acrylics and oil. I have over 11 years experience teaching painting to students of all ages, ranging from Kindergarten to high school, as well as adults and seniors. I am proficient in all areas of art theory fields including painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, photography, and other visual media. I am certified as an art teacher for grades k-12 in Pennsylvania and Ohio. I also have a masters in elementary education.
