Hello students, parents, and potential clients!
After a highly successful year on Wyzant and having seen off several high school seniors to college, I have returned to begin lessons for this new school year! I am currently looking for several highly motivated students who want to take their math and science skills to the next level. It's my goal to help my students achieve 100% of their potential and to make math a less stressful subject for them.
Math is not magic! It is a skill and anyone can learn a skill. I won't lie and say that there is any quick route to math or science success. It will require independent work, study and practice, outside of not only the classroom but outside of independent lessons.
I do SAT I & II test prep, AP test prep, and homework help. Currently, I am working to advance one of my student's math education beyond what's being offered in class, and would certainly do so for anyone who wants to get ahead and possibly test out of a class. I would definitely like to try my hand at homeschooling.
I answer all the questions that students don't want to answer in class for fear of "looking stupid." I will get you back on the bandwagon if you are behind in class and if you are cruising, I can introduce new, challenging material. I will help you achieve that test score that will look oh-so-nice on your college application. Drop me an email if you're interested in grabbing the math bull by the horns!
Also, feel free to check out my blog to see that I am actually a real human being and not some impersonal profile!
