Hi!
I'm a rising senior at Bucknell University, and a graduate of Scranton Prep. I'm currently majoring in Music (BA, Piano) with a minor in Biology and a concentration in pre-medical studies. I would be enthusiastic about tutoring in any of a wide variety of subjects. I'm relaxed, friendly and very patient--all of which traits are of absolute necessity for the eldest of 7 kids!
Some academic credentials:
Bucknell University, '13
GPA to date: 3.48
Expected degree: BA in Music, Concentration in Biology; Pre-Med
Arts Merit Scholarship for Piano
Have studied music extensively (theory/performance/composition/history), as well as all subjects related to the pre-health field: biology (molecular, organismal, genetic, conservational); chemistry (general, organic), physics, calculus, statitics
Scranton Preparatory School, '09
Cumulative GPA: 97%
High honors attained each quarter throughout
Robert Long Award for Excellence in Classical Languages
SAT Composite: 2310
Verbal: 800

Writing: 800
College Board "AP Scholar With Distinction"
AP English Literature score: 5
AP English Language and Composition: 5
AP Chemistry: 5
AP Latin (Virgil): 5
AP Latin (Poetry): 5
I hope the above information demonstrates that I'm capable of tutoring in a litany of subjects at various levels.
I would be particularly excited to tutor in music--I taught piano for three awesome years in high-school. I also find writing especially rewarding...I love editing papers, not everyone does! Furthermore I'll be taking the MCAT this July, so I'll be intimately acquainted with a host of scientific material. In math, I would be very comfortable teaching anything from pre-algebra on up to Calc I.
Above all, I love teaching. I find it to be among the most rewarding academic experiences possible.
Thanks for your time, God bless,
Brendan
