In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I've taken 2 sections of Adobe Photoshop classes and passed with a 90% or better. I am very confident in my use of the program and the likelihood of training another person to use it with competence if not outright success.
Attended Physical Anthropology and received a B, attended Cultural Anthropology and received an A. I still have both texts and all my notes.

Although Aspergers is similar to autism, there are facets of an individual's personality that are distinctively different. This can cause difficulties during the school day or during tutoring appointments.
I have the knowledge to cope with these differences and to help students with Aspergers syndrome succeed, regardless of age. Keeping these individuals to a routine that they are comfortable with is key, as is complete knowledge of subject matter.
