Hi there! My name is Peter. I graduated with a secondary education/social studies degree from Millersville University in 1992. I worked both during and after college as a tutor and wrote the curriculum for social studies for a charter school for at-risk youth in Lancaster, PA in the early 1990s. I prefer to tutor persons from 12 to adulthood. I welcome non-traditional learners as well as children with Aspergers and mild to moderate attention deficit disorders. Most of my work in education has been with these students.

I am also available to tutor for several types of insurance licenses.

ADD/ADHD

I graduated with a secondary education/social studies degree from Millersville University in 1992. I taught at a charter school in the early 1990s, which had over 50 percent ADD/ADHD students.

Aspergers

I taught at a charter school which was geared toward ADD, ADHD, Aspergers and antisocial behavior disorders. About a third of the students were diagnosed with Asperger's and teaching was performed in a small-group (8 or less) or one-to-one setting. In this setting, I was able to develop teaching and tutoring techniques geared specifically toward the Asperger's learner, rather than the traditional school model which ignores or specifically excludes these needs.

Series 63

I am a current holder of a Series 63 (as well as a Series 6 and Series 65). I passed the 63 on the first try with an 88 percent.

I am a registered representative and investment adviser representative for Woodbury Financial Services.
