HOW ART SMART ARE YOU? My class for teaching art skills and mechanics, through drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture or photography is all about strengthening the a students creative intelligence which is one of the multiple intelligences that we all possess. Developing creative intellect and art skills students gain a greater sense of confidence for who they are and what they enjoy plus expand their intellectual prowess toward understanding and developing academic skills and comprehension in other core subject areas.
Classes focus on what a student is interested in and then expands this interest with designed and creative art activities developed using drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and photography. Skills, ideas and subject areas of student interest are explored through each art media as well as learning geared toward developing skills within each media, and understanding the role art and their personal creative "SMART" has in their educational development and their daily lives.
