I believe in basics which can make a difference. We all know that mathematics has a broad range of application from astrophysics to quantum mechanics, from engineering to medicine. Therefore, learning math is a very important step in all aspects of life, and helping individuals to be successful in life. Meanwhile, sometimes it is not easy and one may need some help to boost their potential and get motivated to learn. It should be based on vivid examples of applications to motivate students such as future doctors and engineers, bankers and lawyers. I believe my experience in different fields of engineering and life experiences from three different continents made a right person in this case.
Structural engineering is a combination of art and science. That is where architecture in combination with simple rules of physics and mechanics create art. Mathematics is the connecting device in this scenario and it's role is key in creation and development of concepts. To me, as a structural engineer, teaching means a lot. I practice my engineering basics and help others to learn the basics when I am helping someone to learn how to solve, how to learn forever and above all how to be successful in all aspects of his/her life by doing simple math.
