In four years, I completed all requirements for two degrees: one in Biology, and another in German at Allegheny College in 2007. I took numerous introductory Biology courses, which covered all the basics, as well as specified courses in Genetics and Evolution. I also worked for a time at a research hospital, in the microbiology department. I would consider these three fields to be my specialties within Biology.
Additionally, I studied German for 5 years in high school, and then continued studying it for 4 years in college. This included a semester abroad, at the University of Tuebingen, in Tuebingen, Germany. While there, I took several classes with other German students (as opposed to classes designed for American students).
I also learned a great deal about other subjects, including Chemistry, all levels of Math up to Calculus I (I achieved a 760/800 on my Math GRE). I am also an avid reader, who would love to help a child learn how to be able to read better, and to expand their vocabulary.
I am currently enrolled in a Master's in Education program at Drexel University, and am currently seeking a full time position teaching high school Biology.
