I went through the required training and became CRLA Regular Tutoring certified. I have held individual tutoring hours where I assisted my peers with their homework and exam preparation. I prepared course-based exam reviews for the students as well. Additionally, I have taught a summer math course for high school rising seniors. I began by teaching the course independently. Since at that point I had no prior teaching experience, my supervisor enlisted another teacher to assist with my class. The other teacher and I split up the students based on their mathematics background, and taught our own individual sections from there. I prepared lesson plans, homework, quizzes, and the final exam covering topics from calculus, including but not limited to the unit circle, derivatives, and trigonometric functions.
