Looking for a tutor to get you where you need to go? Look no further.

I am very friendly, very patient and relaxed, and very knowledgeable in my fields of expertise with over ten years experience as a full-time tutor at university level (Macquarie University and Saint Francis University).

My method is tailored to your learning style. As every person is different, I will evaluate your needs during the first session, or preferably in a pre-assessment questionnaire (in emails/telephone exchanges before meet-up) to pinpoint your style of learning and needs; that is to say, what kind of learner are you (visual, audio, rule-oriented), and what is your background/level and learning strengths and weaknesses and issues/concerns? Tutors have to know how their students will best learn; anything else is less than ideal and not worth the student's time or money.

I assure you that I will make explanations and answers as clear as clear can be during your session. No matter how abstract something is, I work with it until I can get as much gray area out as possible for you. And I never let my students walk away until they've mastered what needs to be mastered -- that's a promise!

As a linguist, I know the intricacies of both the English (native speaker) and French languages, making me ideal for tutoring those subjects as well as academic writing, reading comprehension, grammar and test preparation guidance. I also am qualified to teach TESOL (certified).

In my non-linguistic areas of expertise, I am very qualified in tutoring algebra (mastered during university studies) and geography (reinforced by by being a world traveler).
