I am a native-born Korean, ready to teach Korean language and culture. I came to States when I was about 13 years old, and I still have a strong Korean roots. I have a bachelor of science in Biology. I have a lot of experience in both academic and industrial research, concentrating on molecular and cell biology and biochemistry. I can teach basic science (biology, chemistry etc) and lab related classes. I currently work at a pharmaceutical company in greater Philadelphia.
In terms of teaching Korean, I have an extensive experience teaching basic to advance level Korean (reading, speaking, writing) during summer camps. I have a lot of experience teaching kids and some adults. I also have some experience translating Korean books to English, and as a volunteer translator for elderly patients in hospitals and insurance companies. I am a very patient and friendly person and willing to plan out a curriculum to help you to learn Korean language. I will try my best to make learning Korean really fun and enjoyable, because I believe that is the best way to learn a new language. I have a full-time job, so I will be available anytime after 4pm for the weekdays and anytime for the weekends, but other than that I am very flexible in terms of tutoring hours. If you want to learn about Korean language and culture, I am the best guy for the job. I hope you are ready to learn much more about beautiful Korean language and culture.
