I have been helping students and friends with homework and classes since middle school. I have always excelled in technical areas and am currently studying Computer Science at Grove City College. My main focus there is in C++ and Object-Oriented Programming, but we have learned many other paradigms, as well. I have also used XNA Game Studio 3.1 for making both Windows and Xbox game applications. I have taken math courses all the way up to Calculus III, though I'd probably be best sticking to II or below (course numbers between institutions are all different anyway). I also excelled in both 'kinematics' and 'electricity and magnetism' in physics. It's been a while since I've done those, but I could easily get back to speed on them if needed. When I help people, they say that I am able to explain things in ways that are easy to understand, even if it is a difficult concept. I pride myself on being clear and precise, but also on going slow enough for people to understand. I am also very honest and trustworthy, according to my friends, and will do everything I can to help someone not just learn a subject or concept, but to fully understand it, as well. Happy studies!

Algebra 1

I took Algebra 1 in 7th grade and have done well in it ever since. I've always excelled in math in general and did really well in Algebra 1. It is definitely one of my strong areas.

Algebra 2

I had early experience with Algebra 2 in middle school and did very well with it since the start. Math overall is my strong suit and I will do my best to help my students understand the concepts that will help them succeed.

SAT Math

I received a 1310 on my SAT Math and Reading sections, with my math being much stronger. I have always been good at understanding math concepts and if there is something I don't know, I will take the time to figure it out.

Microsoft Outlook

I have used Microsoft Outlook for the last four years at my college. I know how to change the views and layouts available in Outlook, as well as how to use appointments, contacts, contact groups, and tasks. I have fairly extensive knowledge of the options available for composition of emails, including stationary, signatures, and fonts. I have used auto-archive and know how to set that up, too. Anything that I don't know how to do, I can probably figure it out with a few minutes.
