I am a tutor specializing in reading and writing skills development. As a recipient of a Bachelor of Arts degree from a liberal arts college (DePaul University, Chicago, IL), I have had opportunities to develop a diverse collection of academic skills, which range from statistics to poetry. My degree is in English, with a creative writing concentration, but I also have extensive experience with literature, creative and narrative prose, and academic writing, in addition to the well rounded approach to and implementation of a strong liberal arts education. I exhibit my greatest knowledge and strengths in the field of poetry, composition and critical rhetorical analysis, but I am a lover of learning, above all else.

The right mix of relaxed, genuine and humorous — Zach has been just what my 16 year old daughter needed to get through this difficult project. Zach was able to push her in a positive direction and give her plenty of ideas for her research paper. Zach is very knowledgeable and comfortable teaching and I saw my very shy daughter warming up to him and sharing her ideas. He was always positive, yet definitely worked to help her pick up the pace a ...
