I tutored all of the way through college and occasionally after college mostly Math from basic Math to calculus. My most difficult and also most rewarding tutoree was a blind student in College that needed tutoring in Algebra. It was exciting to find ways to explain Algebra without the benefit of the student seeing the equations written. Since College I have done off and on tutoring in my free time and truly enjoy doing it; I seem to have a gift of explaining things in many different ways until the student's eyes light up signalling to me understanding. Although I willing tutor a wide variety of subjects including test preparation, I find I most enjoy all levels of math because there is always that moment where it makes sense and that is rewarding for me. Other subjects have that some of the time but I find that math always does and therefore I like it the most and am the best at it. I don't think of myself as a teacher, but as a guide explaining things when my tutorees get stuck and letting them work out as much as they can on their own. So if you need a refresher for work or school or if your child is struggling with school especially math I am a very patient person to guide you/them into success!
