I'm a current web design and development student entering my senior year, and I've been tutoring HTML and CSS at my college since early in my sophomore year and have since added other web-related subjects, basic computer use, and writing. Prior to becoming a peer tutor, I have worked as an assistant to high school teachers, which included grading and assisting with coursework, and reading tutoring; and I volunteered at a city library, where I helped out with the arts and crafts events. Throughout, I have worked with a broad range of age groups, from the very young who are just beginning to speak clearly, all the way up to older folks looking for new things to do for fun or profit.

Maybe you want to know more about HTML5 or CSS3; perhaps you need some assistance understanding how to navigate and use your computer or a particular program; maybe you just want to tighten up your writing a bit and be rid of those pesky mistakes. I'd be happy to help!

I've been using computers for years, for school, work, and fun. I also sometimes help other students at my college understand the basics of how computers work and how to navigate on them.

Whether it's helping someone learn to read to begin with, or helping out with comprehension of more complex writing structures, I can be as patient as necessary and will pay attention to what needs to be worked on the most.

HTML

I first learned HTML in high school, and have since gone on to major in web design in college. I can help with basic structuring, understanding how different elements work together and effect each other, and knowing the semantics for proper usage.

I can also explain HTML5, as well as CSS and CSS3.

Web Design

I first started learning the absolute basics of web design in an HTML class in high school. Later on, with a somewhat better understanding of design, I began working with Dreamweaver, and quickly reached the point where I could use it for design then go in and clean up the program's code by hand (this also got me paying more attention to how CSS works).
