Emily is a certified Orff-Schulwerk instructor who has also done coursework in Dalcroze Eurhythmics. These methods have inspired her to incorporate movements, speech, and other forms of expressions in music learning.

As a former school teacher and an experienced private studio teacher, Emily has taught students from the age of 5 to 55. Her former students have gone on to study at magnet high schools and major conservatories. A recipient of over ten scholarships throughout her undergraduate and graduate years, she is especially qualified in preparing students for university and conservatory auditions.

Based on her experience in prep-school and private college admission, she is also available to advise students in private school admission, essay writing, and other vocational matters.
