Anatomy

I work to motivate students to gain interest in their subject. Biology especially, it is what we are all about- Life! I have an M.D., science training, and experience with developing and enhancing learning styles and techniques for the individual learner of Biology- using various methods for memorization and conceptual understanding.

I am coordinator of the Science Learning center at NVCC where I have developed the ability to build rapport and gain confidence in order to stimulate learning, and have experience and enjoy working with the diverse populations that NVCC brings.

Biochemistry

I have an Allopathic Medical Degree with Biochemistry courses applied to the clinical sciences. Through the three years of undergraduate and graduate chemistry organic chemistry and biochemistry courses, as well as through the science learning center at Nova, I have training and experience assisting student learning in Biochemistry, especially using various methods for aiding memorization and conceptual understanding.
I am coordinator of the Science Learning Center at a community college where I have developed the ability to build rapport and gain confidence in order to stimulate learning, and have experience and enjoy working with the diverse populations that NVCC brings.

I have medical training, an M.D. and teach at Northern Virginia Community College that offers the RN degree, and have been teaching pre-allied health and nursing students for over 5 years now. I also coordinate the Science Learning Center where I engage students' learning and test taking performance in all of the medical science and clinical subjects especially pharmacology.

Pharmacology

I have an allopathic M.D where pharmacology is the foundation of treatment. I teach at the local community college, where we offer the RN degree, and have been teaching pre-allied health and nursing students for over 5 years. I also coordinate the Science Learning Center where I engage students' learning and test taking performance in all of the medical science and clinical subjects especially pharmacology.

Physiology

I work to motivate students to gain interest in their subject - Human Physiology especially, it is what makes us who we are! I have an Allopathic M.D., science training, and experience with developing and enhancing learning styles and techniques for the individual learner of Physiology and Biological Sciences - using various methods for memorization and conceptual understanding.

Spanish

My experience with Spanish includes taking 5 years of Spanish education, living for four years in Mexico. I fluently speak, read, and write grammatically correct Spanish.

TEAS

I have medical training, an M.D., and teach at a community college that offers the RN degree. I have been assisting students' preparation for the TEAS exam for two years. I have also been teaching pre- allied health and nursing students for over 5 years now. I coordinate the Science Learning Center where I engage students' learning and test taking performance in all of the medical science and clinical subjects.

Tennis

I possess the MD degree and apply the knowledge to the working human machinery as instructed in my first semester Anatomy courses. Avid sports enthusiast in many areas. Cycling, weights, and Am a tennis player at 4.5 level for over 30 years. I instructed youth tennis at high school level for 3 years.
