I am a college student in Oklahoma with a passion for English. When I was in junior high school, I had an English teacher that explained the rules of grammar and the eight parts of speech better than anyone I have ever been taught by. She used easy mnemonics and her outgoing personality to permanently put the basics of grammar in my mind, as well as my heart.
Ever since graduating from her class, I knew that I, too, wanted to teach the subject that I grew to love so much during her classes. I have aspirations to be as great as her at what I love, and I believe that tutoring is the first step I need to take to making more students love the subject as much as myself.
